You Can Now Shop Maragold Designs In Person at Simply Placed in Beverly, Massachusetts!
First, a little background.
Sydney, the owner and curator of Simply Placed, and I met and worked very closely together in our past marketing lives in Boston. In fact, when she relocated from our company’s San Diego office to Boston, a co-worker who knew both of us insisted that we meet.
It's funny how life works out sometimes.
At the time, and for obvious reasons, neither of us knew the other's real dream of starting a business - or of our shared appreciation for design with a focus on simplicity, textures galore, natural elements and soft, neutral palettes.
I remember sitting down with Sydney at a café in Boston in 2019, about a year after leaving my job (that one that we worked at together) to start Maragold. We were catching up on life and she shared with me that she was also going to leave the agency world and pursue her dream of opening a store.
Her would-be store already had a concept and name - Simply Placed.
I've watched Simply Placed evolve from its very beginnings, when it was a conversation between two friends at a café two years before it would open, and have been in consistent awe of Sydney's ability to bring her ideas flawlessly to life. She's created a haven of beautiful everyday home pieces and beyond in Beverly, MA.

Given the above, it feels surreal to share that the Simply Placed collection is HERE! It fills me with joy to know that Maragold has a special home in my home state of Massachusetts while I'm living in London now, and that you can shop my pieces in person!

The collection features a gorgeous palette of timeless-yet-modern neutrals for endless versatility and textural goodness. I handcrafted each and every piece - leather card holders, key fobs, tassel keychains and wool zip pouches - in my London home studio.
